News 21st December 2011 That time is fast approaching... New Years Eve time! This year FORCE Entertainment are organising something a bit different - Mask A Rave. Expect a Steak set somewhere in the fray, back to back with scratch pirate master Maloonatic! So join the facebook page, read up more about it and seeya there.. On a different note - a massive congratulations to all nominees and winners of the Perth Dance Music Awards this year - in particular "Best Hardcore DJ" recipient OL BILL and "Hall Of Fame" inductee HUTCHO (find a link to Hutcho's Perth Rave Pages in the links section of this site) 3rd December 2011 Next week you can swing by Gilkinsons on Saturday night and catch the Dominate 1st birthday party.. featuring almost all the local DJs who have played there over the past year including a Steak set. Should be good - for more info check out the facebook page. 16th October 2011 On the 27th this month catch Steak going back to back with Dominate resident Josh Cube for the 5-6am shock set at Insomniak Vs PHD! Also featuring Thilo & Evanti and PHD's Soul-T. What a way to start a long weekend... 2nd October 2011 Finally some news to report! Two things actually: 1. New mix up! 1 hour going through 4 different styles. Not a standard "CD-only" Promo mix for once either- the one non-live mix that was availible (from over 2 years ago) was looking a bit lonely. Full tracklisting on the mixes page. 2. Also introducing today: SteakTUBE. Pretty much it's just a page where I can upload any cool videos that get taken at events I play at. There's two video compilations up there now and hopefully some more will follow in the future. Seeya there. 27th July 2011 Coming up on August 6th: Dominate presents Noize Suppressor feat. DJ Scratch at Gilkinsons. Also featuring Mack Da Ripper, The Saint and Pugsly from NSW alongside some of Perth's classiest locals.. including a closing set from Steak and Ol Bill. Also featuring Slap N' Tickle aka The Kimberly Kobra! Looking to be a very good night indeed so go get tickets though heatseeker and prepare your ears! 25th July 2011 Huuuge weekend.. Plenty more happening in the coming months as well.. 8th June 2011 For those who aren't my friend on facebook (and are therefore lucky to avoid my spamming), The Harder View are currently doing a campaign for an area at the upcoming Defqon.1 Festival over in Sydney. Their idea is to put on a combat/camo themed area featuring various frenchcore, industrial and terror DJs.. they have a plan for both local and international lineups and both are awesome. Click here for more info and support it by "liking" the page. 14th May 2011 Nightmare 18+ was a great night, good to see lots of people getting down to support some smaller hard music events. Coming up on the 28th is Magic City @ Gilkinsons. Everyone should come along and support this event, if it goes well it'll go a long way to showing that Perth is capable of holding larger scale 18+ events... and who knows.. we might get some harder music there (I've heard some rumors!) 18th April 2011 Thanks to everyone who came down to Dominate Vs Overload.
